With the 2012 London Olympics and the Diamond Jubilee celebrations fast-approaching, there’s never been a prouder time to be British, and – in keeping with the theme – I have to say that I am a fan of the new Yardley English Rose Body Range. It contains a Luxury Body Wash, a Moisturising Body Lotion and a Nourishing Hand and Nail Cream. I tried the Moisturising Body Lotion and particularly loved its light texture. It contains shea butter and glycerine to help combat dryness and hydrate the skin, combined with grape seed oil and sweet almond oil, both of which are renowned for their moisturising benefits, as they’re rich in vitamin E and contain linoleic acid (omega 6), known to help reduce free radical damage and combat the signs of ageing. It also contains Q10 to help strengthen the skin and keep it feeling soft, smooth and toned. You can use it daily on your body and hands, and it comes in a handy pump dispenser for easy application. It will really leave you smelling of roses…
About the fragrance:
English Rose is an evocative light, fresh floral fragrance, combining rose absolute, neroli and camomile, with a heart of rosebud and jasmine petals with warm base notes of amber and sandalwood, which makes it an alluring choice of scent for both daytime and evening.
