The Heat is On

Ever feel like your neck or shoulders are a little on the tight side? Well, when it comes to pain relief, here is a real break through. From the makers of Deep Heat (which always reminds me of after-school training when I was younger) comes a brand new product called Deep Heat Muscle Rescue Neck and Shoulder Cream. It’s a warming cream that is designed to ease tension in stressed muscles – and it couldn’t be easier to use. The tube has a sponge applicator (a bit like some shoe polish tubes have) and you rub it on your shoulders or anywhere you feel discomfort. It has a light scent of vanilla and rosemary which doesn’t make a strong statement, and after a few minutes you will begin to feel heat in the area and it will ease the pain. It feels tingly at first and then it gets really quite hot, but don’t worry it stops after a while!
Muscle tension affects millions of people in the UK everyday, and this cream is a great way to prevent long term pain caused by it. There’s also a gorgeous bath soak int he range that is designed to help you relax.  Key ingredients include electrolyte minerals and essential oils of rosemary, patchouli and orange.

Stress and women’s health expert, Dr MacNair notes: “Knotted, tired muscles are a problem for most adults at some point or other. The physical and mental stresses of our daily lives can leave back, shoulder and neck muscles feeling stiff and stressed. Without time to relax and de-stress, the problems can reoccur the next day, creating a vicious circle of muscle tension. Deep Heat’s new Muscle Rescue range of products help tackle and soothe the problem – either when out and about with the cream or at home in a relaxing bath with the bath soak – to soothe tense, aching muscles and create a sense of wellbeing.”

Deep Heat Muscle Rescue Neck and Shoulder Cream £5.99
Deep Heat and Bath Soak £5.49
