Do you have a Skin Story?

laia-farran-graves-beauty-spotOne of my favourite beauty products of all times is a very understated does-what-it-says-on-the-tin sort of product: the amazing Bio-Oil. It’s fantastic to help hydrate your skin and to tackle scars (I had some small scars which have virtually disappeared!) , stretch-marks and any other issues that you may have, such as discoloration – and it smells and feels amazing!
And this week Bio-Oil are launching a brand new campaign online to encourage people to share their stories relating to these problems. From today, this campaign called  ‘Skin Stories’ is hoping to help with skin and body confidence just in time for summer. And for every story shared, Bio-Oil will donate £1 to one of three charities – the British Skin Foundation, cancer support charity Look Good Feel Better and the Iolanthe Midwifery Trust, who provide funding for midwifery education, practice and research.

So, if you have a story to tell (big or small) you can join the conversation and  submit it via the Bio-Oil Facebook page www.facebook.com/biooiluk or on twitter on Twitter @Bio-OilUK using the hash tag #myskinstory, and share your experience.

To help women feel more confident about their skin, Bio-Oil is using our love of social media to address these issues by encouraging women to share their Skin Stories on Facebook and Twitter.  The campaign aims to demonstrate to women how common these issues really are whilst also encouraging them to celebrate the often amazing stories behind them and what they represent in the story of their life, such as becoming a mum, surviving an illness or accident or falling off your bike as a child.

The Bio-Oil unique formulation includes vitamin A and E with Calendula, Lavender, Rosemary and Chamomile oils, and their very own Bio-Oil, PurCellin Oil™ (that somehow create a “dry” oil which is non-greasy) to ensure they’re easily-absorbed into the skin where they can provide targeted treatment.
Bio-Oil has been clinically proven to help with scars, stretch marks,  uneven Skin Tone, Ageing Skin and Dehydrated Skin.
Bio-Oil is preservative-free and is not tested on animals. Available from Boots, Superdrug, Tesco, Asda, Lloyds Pharmacy, Sainsbury’s, Morrisons, Waitrose, Savers, Bodycare, SemiChem, Wilkinsons, Primark, Amazon and independent pharmacies nationwide. 60ml rsp £8.95, 125ml rsp £14.95, 200ml rsp £19.95
