Good foundations

laiafarrangraves-beautyspotWith so many foundations to choose from, it’s hard to know which will work best for you. Often we are loyal to a brand that delivers that exact shade we like,  but sometimes it’s worth trying something new – especially as the technology in the beauty industry is currently moving at lightning speed. There is a great new product which can be used for a light or for fuller coverage, the READY®SPF 20 foundation from bareMinerals®. It’s a silky formula that blends easily onto the skin giving it a natural finish, and it somehow hydrates your skin when you wear it (it contains a SeaNutritive Mineral™ Complex that works to hydrate and replenish the skin throughout the day), avoiding dry skin. It looks like a powder but in fact feels like a cream, so you have the best of both! The colour range is quite extensive too (you can choose form 20 shades), I tried the 250 shade which was perfect for my skin in the summer, as it’s a few shades darker that in the winter months, and as it has an SPF of 20 there is a base protection in place. The product feels lovely and clean, and lighter than your usual foundation feels – probably because it’s formulated without parabens, fillers or harsh chemicals. It’s a great product to try and I’m not the only one to say so, it has been awarded The Sunday Times Style Beauty Awards 2013 – Best Breakthrough Beauty Product and The Sunday Times Style Beauty Awards 2013 – Best Foundation. So next time your foundation runs out be adventurous and give this a go…
